Happy sunday!....Has anyone tried Neurontin?

Post by Maureen »

Hi,

I've been steadily increasing my dosage of Neurontin to prevent migraines....I'm up to 1200mg/day...

Has anybody gained weight while on Neurontin?
So far I've gained 2 pounds in 4 weeks...not bad....

I hope everyone had a nice weekend!
Love,
Mo

MO----my grandaughter,Kait, has or still is on Neurontin---
Mainly for *pain* and also for seizures ---which turned out NOT to be seizures BUT a drug overdosing--
It appears that the meds. she takes @ home and the meds. they gave her after surgery caused A drug overdose---and they had to give her another opiate to counter act the over dose!!!

I know this neurontin is used for many issues---

Hope U can get rid of them migraines!!!!!
Keep a smile
Wake up feeling better
luve Barbara

PS. I have to ask Kait what else she takes-----I know they are slowly--thru the Pain managment place---lowering dosages!!!

Hi Mo,

Since there don't appear to be many members here who have tried Neurontin, here's a link with patient opinions about the drug. If you'll scroll down the list, you'll find a number of responses from people who took it for migraines.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
