Work Tomorrow
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
Hi Oma,
I noticed yesterday when I left home at about 7:30, to go to a meeting, that it was still in the 90s here. It sure doesn't cool off very fast in the evenings, does it. I'm gettin' used to it again, though. It's been a while since we had a really hot summer here in Central Texasl
I guess I'll be working tomorrow, also. Late this afternoon, a coupling on the drive shaft of a long auger shattered, while we were putting oats in a hopper tank, so tomorrow we'll have to get the auger down closer to the ground, so that we can reach it from a platform on a forklit, to install a new coupling.
It's kind of dangerous work, but at least that will keep me from going anywhere tomorrow. I figure it will be a lot more dangerous out on the highways tomorrow. I noticed this afternoon, while making a delivery, there are a heck of a lot of people out on the roads already, going somewhere for the holiday weekend, and most of them are driving as if they're already late.
Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

There was hardly anyone on the Hwy coming home from San Angelo. Made good time. I would not want to have to drive any further than to work this weekend. I thought the bird had a nest in the Auger? Love Oma

Hi Oma,
Apparently that poor bird had the same problem as the bird that nested in the welding cannister cap in your shed. The day after I took that picture of the two that had hatched out, the nest was empty. Sigh.
