Bobs Red Mill GF products
has anyone had trouble eating Bobs Red Mill Rice flour or any other of their products? It has been brought up on a celiac disease forum and some people have reacted to it.

Yes, I do, but I can't eat rice, either.
Another possible reason for people to react to it is that it may have sulfites in it: as a result of the processing to remove the hull from the kernel, later as a whitener, or even later as a preservative. It doesn't have to be listed on the package unless it is more than a thousand parts per million (but don't quote me on that exact figure). There is a standard under which sulfites don't have to be listed; and it's a natural substance, so even if it says "all natural", you can't be sure it doesn't contain sulfites.
I hope this is helpful,
Love, Marsha

It's probably due to cross-contamination. BRM handles other products that contain gluten, and someone may have made a mistake at their mill.
I had a problem with their bread mix, but at the time, I thought it was because of the fact that I had overlooked corn on the label.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
