Update - Again............

Post by Mars »

Hi everyone - sorry so quiet - things have been absolutely crazy around here.

Larry's dad made it through the surgery quite well. He is out of ICU and expected to be released as soon as he passes gas! LOL He lost little blood and the tumor was contained inside the colon walls. They are doing a biopsy on the tumor and the lymph nodes and we should hear something by Monday or Tuesday. He has to follow up with a cancer doctor and the other treatment will depend on the biopsy results.

Trisha and Bryce are now staying with us. Things are really getting ugly at Craig's. She is laid off from her job and without money it is very difficult to move! sigh - another saga in the life at our house.

I am still doctoring; actually more things are popping up. In the midst of a flare at the moment - doc says to eliminate as much stress from my life as possible - yeah RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! I am back on Levbid for the cramping/spasms in my colon right now. Low energy/nausea again. Oh MAN! lol

My neck and back are in terrible condition. There is severe pain in my neck (right side) and the doc who is an osteopath is very concerned. He stopped my chiropractor appointments until he reads the results of my Xray that I had today. He says there is severe tension/tightness at the trigger point. He started me on some strong muscle relaxers - Soma - to be taken at bed instead of the Ambian.

I am also starting a low dosage of Zolof to help with the seratonin level. This will hopefully help with the stress my body is reacting to.

Too many things going on right now - gotta get my "you know what" together - feel like I'm 85!

Talk to everyone later - gonna go rest.

Love to all,
Mars

Hello Mars

You sound really down & with good reason I reckon. You are really going through a bad patch. Having a chiropractor pull you around may not be the best thing for you at the moment so Doc is probably right. Stress can do some terrible things to you I know. Really feel for you. Hope things settle down for you soon.

Happy to hear that Larry's father came through his op Ok. Just have to hope his biopsy result is good.

Love

Liz

 Oh, Mars. Please know I'm thinking of you. What a rough patch you are going through right now. Please let off steam or whatever as often as you feel the need. It might help. So sorry things are all piling up on you at once. Please try to take some time for Just YOU as often as you can.

In my thoughts also Margie

Glad FIL came thru surgery---- and by all means stop chiropractor until other test show more detail of whats going on---

U know the *cracking--good* doc.'s X-rays dont show the entire issue and U can be doing more harm than good~~~~thats what started Doug on the road to be being in the shape he is in now!!!!

What can I say-----try to relax---take it day by day-----and too bad we cant be there to give U a helping hand--

Luve ya Margie

Mars,

Thanks for the update and good news on your FIL's condition.

Sorry to hear about all the other issues still ganging up on you. I hope you can start getting some relief from all those things, and soon.

Love,
Wayne

Oh Mars Bar, what a pressure cooker you are in.

Good news about FIL's surgery. Hopefully, that will be the turning point and things will start to look up.

I know you are under severe stress, but please try to take care of YOU. How about a massage - or whatever is the best relaxer for you. Thinking of you and sending good vibes~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Love and a :bigbighug:
