Not Feeling Well
I am so not feeling well today. I've been tired all week, but today is the worst. I'm also having some of those episodes where I feel really fuzzy and my gut gets all uptight and I'm not sure I'm going to keep going. I haven't felt completely like I was going to pass out (which I did in the past when I had these feelings) except for when I'd been kneeling at a filing cabinet and stood up too fast, but I still feel icky.
I'm off shortly here to go back over to the high school to do one more presentation to a science class. I just feel like I could sleep for a week!

Sounds to me like you should go and have a Doctor check you out. Feeling as if you might pass out is not good, you could be driving and it really happen to you. I hope you feel better soon. Please go and get checked, we care about you. Love Oma/Herb Lady
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance

Oh no, Katy
Feeling that way is no fun at all and having to work and do presentations in front of a crowd at the same time sounds next to impossible. Do you have a summer cold or some bug? My kids both have pretty bad colds right now. How have you been doing with your diet lately? Have you done a fair amount of "cheating" with gluten or have you been strict with the diet?
Gosh, I wish I could help you - sounds like you need to lie down and get some rest.
Katy, are you drinking enough to keep you hydrated in the summer heat?
Let us know how your day progresses.
Love,
Karen

LOL Karen, summer heat? Whats that? We are smack dab in the middle of another COLD/WET spring! We have not seen the sun since Saturday and it's not supposed to shine with any regularity until at least next Thursday
I feel better now. These feelings come and go. In the past when I had them, the docs all said I was fine...nothing wrong. I did get diagnosed with endometriosis during that time and I am PMSing so it could be hormonal shift. I also goofed and ate a piece of b-day cake last night (was so tired it didn't register what I was doing...I forget who, but someone a year of two ago told a story about doing the exact same thing at a bb-q with a hamburger bun...at the time I thought "how can you not realize you are eating a bun"...now I know how).
Well, another hour or so of work, then I have to scoot out early to take Molly to the vet.

You know what? That's one of my greatest fears--that I will absentmindedly pick up something and start grazing on it, while I'm distracted by a conversation, or something else. So far it has never happened to me, but it's always in the back of my mind. Old habits are hard to break.
Hope you're feeling even better by now, Katy.

Sometimes it happens to me..
Katy, I have always had issues like that, but honestly they've been BETTER since MC..
I used to suffer from low blood sugar, anemia, etc. I used to have to eat at LEAST every 2 hours, especially if I was doing things like cleaning, which I was very fond of back then. If I didn't get fed at least every 2 hours, I'd nearly pass out. I can only relate it to CARSICKNESS if anyone else experiences that. I experience it OFTEN. Lightheadedness, headache, feeling of confusion, feeling like I'm going to faint. Eventually, if I didn't eat, it would get SO bad that I COULDN'T eat. I'd get dehydrated and have to basically suck on oranges or something juicy like that until I was hydrated enuf to eat something of more substance.
Since MC tho, I can starve myself for days and not even notice. Frankly I think it's the dicyclomine the doc gave me. Tho I'm no longer taking it, I still don't really feel "hungry" ever.. hunger pains, etc. Gone.. And I'm not sure that all of that BEFORE was related to hunger pains.. I would think it was more related to blood sugar, dehydration, etc.. but that issue has passed, I guess. maybe it was a hormone thing.
OMG I'm in so much pain today tho. Plus I have a case of "my job sucks rocks."
Oh well, glad you feel better Katy!!! Now if you can just get the CAT back up to par!
