We will all pray here as well for everyone - I wish someone would have an "AHA" moment and get to the root of these problems....the ongoing suffering has been incredibly inhumane for her - it's just so wrong!!!

Maggie had a really good thought on the other thread - time to involve the media. Sometimes that is the fastest way to get the help you need. Some neuro is BOUND to see it and think "hey, I could help" and offer to do so. That or financial aide will pour in, making it possible for you to get even MORE help..
I'm so sorry you have to go thru this, and even more that Kait has to go thru it. So sad to hear her say she thinks she may die. Almost as if she's given in to the idea, which is unacceptable!!! Unacceptable for ANY kid to have to grasp their own immortality. There has GOT to be something you can do. Call Montel Williams. He is all about incredible cases of medical malpractice and incompetence and all for helping people with chronic diseases. He has had MS for most his life. It's worth a shot, what else CAN you do???

I haven't been on the board in days due to power outages up here so I've had to do some catching up. I'm so shocked, angry, sad, to say the least about what has happened to Kait, you, and your family.
I agree with what the others have said about getting the media involved.
What about St. Jude's children's hospital - Marlo Thomas is so involved with children that she/they might be able to give you some advice on where to turn. I'm trying to think of celebs that are involved with health care, specifically children. And what about your local media? Is there an "On Your Side" type of segment at any of your local stations? You know the type: they go in to expose businesses etc. that have performed poorly and help the consumer. Just a thought.
I will hold you all in my prayers and thoughts. I believe all of us here are feeling as frustrated and helpless as you. I can't remember who suggested malpractice attorney but it seems like a good start.
