Little men and a bout of D

Post by Sally »

I don't know which to talk about first.

It has been so hot here and I spent a lot of time outdoors Monday and yesterday I spent a goodly amount of time on the pot. Heat does that to me. Anyone else?

The little men are part of the painting crew. Yesterday while I was sitting comfortably on the toilet, I heart this LOUD explosive noise like I was in a car wash. At first I thought it was me, but it was just the little men power washing the house. Whew.

This morning I walked into the kitchen to make my coffee and a little man was crashing around in the bushes right under the window. I asked him what he was doing. Trying to be a burglar? Not very successful. No, he was caulking the walls of my house. Oh. Okay.

This is a pain. I feel so exposed. I never know when I am going to have one of them peeking in the window. So much for vacuuming in the nude!

Love,

Sally

Well, how little are they? They probably can't even see in the windows, unless they use a ladder.

Also, if they're little green men, don't let 'em fool you--they're probably from Mars. LOL.

Love,
Tex

Good one Mars!!

Also, I have to tell you, Sally, that I was lying on the couch watching a TV show and suddenly I thought of your line - "At first I thought it was me, but it was just the little men power washing the house. Whew."

I burst out laughing. Luckily, I was watching a comedy but there was only me to hear so what did it matter.

I went out and inspected the house yesterday and there are splotches of primer all over everybody's houses. It looks like we have all come down with some horrible skin disease. The patios are covered with old paint chips. No point cleaning it up until they are done painting. I think the little men are gone for awhile, but there are still the golfers scrounging around in the bushes looking for their balls.

Lots of love,

Sally
