Well as U all know, the ENDO. biopsied the bigger nodule on my right side--
NO report on that yet~~~~~

But Dr. Carla called me before with 2nd blood draw~~~~~and it appears that it is BETTER??? she said the first blood draw,in her wording--could have been a FLUKE!!!!!

Now could someone XPLAIN this to me??? Cus if I go into the net and ask about a *fluke -in thyroid* I dont know what could be answered to me sooooooooo I am here---for OPINIONS---PLEASE

Had something similar with cholesterol test... dr called it a fluke.. I think it means the tests may have been mixed up with someone else's and the lab won't redo it for free and the insurance won't pay for the lab's mistake!!..LOL

I'm pretty sure that she meant that it was a chance event that was not representative of the true situation, IOW something happened to cause the sample or the test to be misleading.

Or, she could have meant that it was a trematode, (a parasitic flatworm that is also called a fluke), but I doubt that. LOL.

I think sometimes that what Tex and grannyh said is right. If they make a mistake, they aren't going to tell you, and if they don't know and can't explain it they may not tell and re-test. I am sending good vibes to Barb. Love you :flowersmiley:

Tell U this is getting me very annoyed----starting with *Doogie-Howser--
