Tex, I think that is happening to me, I have been very carful with my diet. I really need get that poison from my body. You know all my organs are inflammed, even my scalp, my mouth, they found unspecified inflmation. I think mybinmune system is attacking those damaged molecules by accutane. No matter waht I can not get well. So sad

Your doctor should have known better. There have been more than enough warnings published for doctors. I'm amazed that someone would still prescribe it.

I'm sure that (Accutane - Isotretinoin) was the trigger. Here I thought it was from all the ibuprophin I was taking or maybe a stomach bug that ran through my house at the same time. I know I was a higher risk as I've always had some allergies to food. I carry an Epipen for my shell fish allergy. I had an intollerence to soy and dairy in my early 20's but eventually outgrew it. I havn't been able to eat Almonds, Apples, peaches, pears, cherries, hazelnuts, kiwi, blueberries and a bunch of others fruits in the past 15 years without my mouth tingling and throat getting scratchy.
I think putting me on Accutane was the bomb that burst the damn and now as you can see I have a severe intollerence to a ridiculous amount of foods and ingredients. I wouldn't go so far as to say that doctors lack of knowlege ruined my life but clearly has altrered my everyday living. I choose to focus on the things I can have and shut the door to my brain that crys over the things I can't have in order to heal. I am going to let her know in the nicest way possible and hope that she will research it on her own.

That's a good attitude to have. As thoughtless as many doctors appear to be, it's still best not to burn any bridges, because we may need their help for ordering tests or writing prescriptions at some point in the future.
