Bob In Ca

Post by annie oakley »

Hi Bob. I just wondered if you were any where near the fires in California. I grew up in HAwthorne, Gardena, long Beach, Most of SO. California. Went to Redondon Union High school.
I am going to the Post Office Wedneday (I'm Off work that Day) and mail something to you. Just to let you know. Hugs and Love Oma

Hi Oma, we have a couple acres in an area of San Luis Obispo, between Santa Barbara and San Francisco. I am 6 miles from the ocean - so we miss the wildfires that tend to occur in the dry inland areas.

If I seem to disapear for a while - I may get called out to do more hurricane damage inspections. I was at Katrina for 5 months, had some time off, and with the healing you folks helped me with I should be able to survive. The McBathrooms are hammered in a storm - it can get exciting.

Hiya Bob!

Now that photo IS scary! I can't tell you how many times I had to rely on a McBathroom (LOVE the word) in an emergency. It's upsetting to think that they may not be available when we need to make that mad dash!

BTW, are you feeling better?

Love,

Polly

Yep, thanks to all the hard work you folks have put into this community, I was able to make a decision and do meds for the first time - and the inflammation is getting better every day. I am on "day 6" of the Asacol, not normal BM yet but the urgency is much improved.

Once I heal up enough to tell when a specific food causes a problem, I will do Jean's "elimination diet". Till then, I am off all wheat, dairy, and other grains.
