OK---the CRUISE~~~~SUPER~~

Post by barbaranoela »

The ship is something to see--to go into detail wouldnt even give one any idea as to the beauty of it--3,000 passengers~~~1500 crew--who were the nicest people I ever seen on cruise--any*hoo*
The suite with balcony--was awesome---very private--2 lounges--
Room perfect--
Food --U name it--there it was---oriental---Tai---regular--etc.--and desserts--to die for~~~~
The shows were amazing---the talent was incredible--the costumes--the sets-- music---dazzeling~~~~~
Ice skating show---MOMSTER would have luved this---movements of beauty--
The decor---of the ship---the artistry---stupendous--
11 floors-----YUP---I always got lost--  --our cabins were at the front--I always walked to the back~~~~
Every night our cabin guy made different animals--using towels--and then setting Lous sunglasses on them----so clever and cute to walk into your cabin and see this creation sitting on ya bed--
Salsa music---ballroom---disco---big band tunes--

And naturally the REAL KA-CHING--KA CHING-- we sorta always ended up in the Casino---which did have good pay offs--

Oh---we missed St.Thomas--due to storms---all the other islands were glorious---and we did hit some rock and roll waters-- and the tummy went up/down/sidewards--

Weather --hotter than hell---100% humidity and high 90;s---that kinda was a bummer--so we walked around and then hit the beaches and just bobbed up and down with the salty sea waves---was great!!!

Lorraine and I looked like schlamazzal and schlameal--  --we wore the hats backward---had the big sunglasses---it was so funny~~~

OHHHH---and when the cruise started---a guy came around to video from beginning to end---and Lorraine---me---and another gal---made the big screen---Hollywood here we come----

Anyway---it was super----and all birthdays were acknowledged----believe it or not---Sept.11th---it was me and 2 others---had a teeny cake--candles and everybody who heard the singing--joined in too~~~

I think thats enuf-----cus I could still ramble on----but I think U all got the gist of how Xciting this ship/cruise was----

Now I am off to sleep---
Good to be home--
Keep a smile~~~
And good night :countsheep:

I absolutely love your style of writing. Your description of the ship, and the events that happened during the cruise, are so expressive and interesting, that I probably enjoyed reading about it more than I would have enjoyed it if I were actually on board. Thanks for a terrific post.

Good night, Mrs. Columbo, and I hope that both you and Lou get a good night's sleep,

Tex

Welcome home, Sis! I sure did miss you.

I'm with Wayne. Great descriptions - I felt like I was there with you. It sounds wonderful. Did Norman go along with you? Sorry to hear about Lou's continuing problems but glad it was not more serious. I have been aboard a cruise ship when they had to helicopter a sick person off. Talk about medical bills! I think it was all out-of-pocket.

You sound rested and happy, so it seems the trip was just what you needed.

Love :pulsinghearts:

Morning Barbara,

I too absolutely love the way your write and it makes me feel like I was along for the journey and it just might be the closest I ever get to a cruise. Would love to have seen the towel animals and the ice skating and the video of you and Lorraine.

So happy you had a good time but feel so bad for Lou.

Love, Maggie

Hi Barb. Sounds like you had a great time. They should pay you to advertise their cruises I reckon, you do such a good job of describing how good they are. By the way, what are 'schlamazzal and schlameal' They sound like something you would eat.

Love
