Just heard there was an earthquake in Crescent City, CA.
Hope it didn't affect anyone here - Mary, hope you don't live near to there.

Love - Momster

Hi Momster. I used to leave in Southern Calif and remember that in school we learned eearthquake drills as every day part of our day. I hope no one was hurt and homes weren't badly damaged. Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance

Hi Momster! I just heard on the news that the coastal towns in Oregon were evacuated as a precaution, but luckily....no tsunami with this quake. I am at least glad that the warning sysytems are working!

What's new with you...lots of beading? I was hoping to make a trip to B.C. in early July, but my plans had to be changed...sigh...hope life is treating you well! Love, Jill

I live in So. Calif. Didn't feel a thing I'm to far from where the earthquake was at. Maybe Mary felt something she is much closer than me. My son lives in San Francisco and he didn't feel anything. But then again he use to sleep through all the earthquakes.

Oma - where in So. Calif. did you live? I grew up in Orange County, but lived out towards San Bernadino area (Yucaipa) it's a little town. Now I'm back in Orange County. Love the weather and the beaches here!!

Love,
Joyce

When was this quake? The Oregon beaches were evacuated? Was that this morning or last night?

I hope everything is all right! I haven't heard anything. Jill, do you know anything more?
