lYNN JUST CALLED---kAIT IS STILL IN SURGERY!!!!

I didnt know that there was *2* parts to this surgery---

I dont understand but this is it-----2 shunts in her head --one in the ventricle and one somplace I didnt understand---I didnt Question Lynn cus she sounds terrible---
Both shunts come together to form a Y and then drain into the heart???

Thats the best I can offer----until Lynn calms down and can further Xplain--

My favorite friend *stress* just took over and now I am off to U know where~~~~

That is incredible, Barb!! I sure am hoping and praying they get it right this time!!

I can certainly understand what you mean about the stress. It is awful waiting and waiting and waiting......

But here's hoping the outcome will be so fantastic that you won't even remember what it was like.

The waiting must be so hard for you....... You sounded pretty optomistic earlier about the surgery today so I am too. Crossing fingers in Alaska. Keep us udated and try to stay calm. Love, Joanna

Morning Barbara,

I am shocked to hear that it will be 2 shunts and draining into the heart is one I have never heard of but then again, what do I really know about shunts. I hope the surgery went very well and that she will finally be able to get on with life. This is too much stress for both you and Lou.
