Got fed up with Norman not being around and just started eating whatever I felt like eating... and sure enough he shows up ... leaving me totally confused again:)
He will probably be gone tomorrow.. but who knows.. he sure stayed around for the chocolate I have been eating for a week.. just cheap Hershey bars.. plain. He didn't seem to mind the Dairy Queen Blizzard with m&m's in it either.
I added back tomatoes and rice this week too... cut out the cherry preserves on the rice crackers tho. Still not eating peanuts either.
I have been eating a huge batch of popcorn every day (plain with salt.. made with olive oil) Have been doing that for weeks now...
I started taking the miacalcin nasal spray for osteoporosis about 10 days ago.. could be another drug induced remission.. but why miacalcin would do it is beyond me...
Cholesterol is coming down slowly with two crestor a week. Nuclear stress test came out normal. Waiting on bone density test results.. then hopefully can stop visiting doctors for awhile:)
The bipap machine seems to be better for me for the sleep apnea than the cpap was. At least I don't blow up like a balloon every night. I still havne't been able to keep it on all night but I am getting much more rest.. EXCEPT for tonight. Restless legs kept waking me up so I decided to log on and read the message board here:)
About time I tried to go back to sleep I guess...

Hi! Is it a machine you put on your face? If so that would be hard to keep on all night. Maybe you have to get used to it. Sometimes you just hate being careful what you eat and then you eat everythnig...I can relate to that like the Rocky Road Ice Cream I ate yesterday with Pecans on it. Nothing has happened soooo..maybe I am ok. Good luck on keeping Norma around.

I got one of the newest masks for the bipap machine... just a little bar that fits under your nose and into your nostrils. I didn't like the full maske they used in the sleep clinic. I am not used to dealing with the long hose draping over my at night and it is hard to find a comfortable way to sleep wearing the device.
Thought for sure Norma would be gone this morning after having spaghetti sauce two nights in a row.... won't try it a third night tho...LOL
