I'm trying to upload a picture to put in as my avtar, but it doesn't appear.
What am I doing wrong or missing?

I don't believe that you can upload one directly to the gallery, as that would require admin privileges. If you want one entered in the avatar gallery, I have do that. Or, you can enter an URL where your avatar is stored on a remote server, (assuming that the avarar is properly composed, that is, 80 x 80 pixels per square inch or less, with a maximum file size less that 6KB.

Most members e-mail me an image, and I convert it into an avatar. If you have a good image editor, and know how to use it, you can create the avatar yourself, but many image editors seem to leave errors in the final file, and then it can't be displayed.

I'll be happy to upload an avatar for you, or create an avatar from an image file, (if you will tell me how you want the image cropped).

Hey Momster,

I just saw your pic in the custom gallery! All you should need to do it click it there but I'm trying to do that now and having some problems.

I see Peg suggested you post the one of you and her (I think you sent me that one) and it's a great pic. I'm gonna put one on of Lanni and I.

Thanks for putting those pics in the gallery. I deleted the other one and have tried and tried again but it's not working for me.

I can get the new avatar pic of lannie and I to show in my profile but when I submit and go to other parts of the board it get's lost in space someplace. Then I go back and look at the profile and it's gone.

Can you help me? Or, tell me what I'm doing wrong? I chose the pic of the two of us holding hands.
