Spent yesterday up at Woodford, about half hour from here. The Woodford Folk Festival is held each year & people come from all over the world. It is getting bigger each year. Here is a link to the website.

Susie & Gilles sold their restaurant a month or so ago & are now doing event & private party/wedding catering. Gilles has built a mobile kitchen & part of it was taken up yesterday. Their restaurant for the Festival is called 'Gilles Place'
It will take all week to set up completely. All the food places have to be up & running before next Monday before other stalls & such come in. They have worked very hard to get everything made in time. Gilles is pretty handy & has built it all himself with Susie & Rob's help. It will have a small but well equipped kitchen with seating both under cover & in the open. The spot that they have is very well situated & next to a lagoon.
This is the menu. Everthing is gluten free & mostly organic.
Kitchen under construction
Rob checking out some of the seating, still at their home.
Part of the servery which will of course be outside the kitchen.
They expect to serve about 3.000 meals over the 6 days of the festival.

Hi again
I won't be going to the actual festival. We were just up there yesterday helping with the setup. I did not do much more than take photos & hold up one of the poles that will support the shade. My job has really been at home. I digitised the logos for their shirts( will post photos of one later. Then I embroider them. I have finished 8 so far & still have about another 20 odd to go. It takes me about an hour to sew out each shirt. Also am testing out some recipes for GF biscuits - or cookies as you probably call them. Would appreciate a recipe that takes freezing well if anyone has one. Susie wants us to go back up next Monday by which time everything will be in place. They must have it all up & running by then because the other stall holders etc. come in then & they usually want to buy meals. So they actually will be working there for much longer that the 6 days of the festival.
They have peripheral seating as well as tables & chairs so will be able to cater for quite a few people at once.
This is what it looked like when they were putting it togeter.
This is a trial setup on their property up at Doonan
So you see it has been a lot of hard work. Will post pics of it all completed on site when I get them.
