Am trying to find out what this ailment is--
spelling is wrong--Iknow---something with bone marrow??

Hi Barbara,

You're probably referring to myelodysplasia, (MDS). The term is apparently used to describe any of a group of disorders that cause the bone marrow to malfunction and fail to produce a sufficient supply of normal blood cells. Here's a site:
