Hi Oma,

Walking or standing on concrete for hours each day, can cause foot tiredness and knee problems, especially as the support system in shoes begin to break down. I was having a lot of problems with that a month or so ago, since I spend a lot of time stacking bags on pallets, (on a concrete floor). My feet and knees finally got so bad that they hurt when I got out of bed in the morning. I wear good, cushioned work shoes, but they were getting old. Buying new shoes didn't seem to solve the problem, so after a couple more weeks of misery, I broke down and bought a pair of orthopedic type shoes, with built in fluid-filled insoles, and after a few days wearing them, my feet and knees finally got back to normal.

Now, I can wear regular shoes again, without any problems, but I wear the "ortho" shoes most of the time when I'm working, especially whenever I'm working on concrete.

I hope Jasmine is OK.

Love,
Tex

Jasmine is fine. She has a defect in her Jaw (I suspect from birth) and she gets things stuck in there and we have to help her with it. I am usually very careful what she gets as a treat because of that.
Yeah, I have been looking at some ortho shoes as well. Even thos I sit at a computer all day, I do wa;l around on breaks and I walk thru the store when I get Groceries etc.
I Never gave much thought to orthp shoes years ago and wished I had. But Hine sight is 20/20 right?
We are getting some sprinkles tonight. Rain had let up for awhile, but sprinkles have returned. That's ok, we don't have any planned trips outside of the homestead tomorrow. Take care :ove Oma
