Homemade Applesauce

Post by Dee »

1# Jonathon apples, peeled, cored and diced
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup water
Combine in a non-reactive saucepan and heat until boiling, then turn the heat to low and simmer for 8 minutes, also stir halfway thru the simmering time. When apples are very soft, transfer them to a food processor or a blender and puree..
