OK---now its KAIT time---

Post by barbaranoela »

Remeber me telling U guys how she just taught herself how to KNIT and didnt use any patterns----thought up the designs in her little head and about the Christmans Tree she knitted(on Turkey Day) with a star---and a brown bark and Lynns name on it~~~~~~and I was like *WOW* Kait----~~~~this is a natural talent U have--even to THINK of a design and etc.

And how Xcited she was to accomplish something---all on her own!!!

Kait---I said----*keep knitting cus when your high school has its Xmas boutique--U can set up a table and sell your home-made goods~~*
Grams---what a great idea----and to see the Xcitement within her made me like   ---etc.

WELL---Kait has such faith--- :pulsinghearts: ----
Anyway--her christian church needs KITCHEN REPAIRS----so---last Sunday---Kait got up and announced that she has a table set up--in the little room where they have :coffee2: and buns after services---with the things she has knitted--

WELL----the peoples bought all that was there and she has orders totaling for other goods totalling $190.00 which Kait is DONATING for the kitchen repairs!!!
Is this grandaughter of mine a GEM or what!!!
Kait made something for her best friend--Amanda---in turn Amanada showed *whatever it was* to her college mates and KAIT has more orders for Amandas friends---

:phone:'ing with Kait---with such an UPBEAT voice was a total *GOD's WINK* and not a COINCIDENCE that she developed this natural talent--

Community College---she has to take X-amount of credits---BUT in order to have medical coverage U HAVE TO BE a FULL TIMER---which she will not be----BUT her lawyers---doctors----presented all her issues to school personnal and along with all this stuff discussed they got hold of SSI and MEDICARE and KAIT will continue to have medical coverage!!!

Now isnt this the best NEWS I have ever had to give U guys~~~~

Kait is soooooooooooo different-----she will make something of her life---she is KNITTING away---  --and I said *Kait---dont knit yourbody into one of your designs*
It was so super to hear Kait :conversation: with me---and LAUGHING!!!
YES---A real LAUGH!!!
Also Kait has joined a group in town---with peoples(young and oldER) who suffer with terrible pain and like US here ---vent---get into---and see there is LIFE!!!!!

Now she can Yap all she wants to others that UNDERSTAND---outside of your family---which @ times dont really UNDERSTAND!!!

Thats it---- :bigbighug: :pulsinghearts:

Grams of a super :knitting: and a :star:

Kait really is a GEM of a young girl and I am betting that her GEM of a Grandma had a lot to do with it. Genes don`t lie. Love, Carol

Kait is a trooper. So glad she found her own support group too. And that she has found a hobby that is so well received. Kudos.

Morning Barbara,

Wow did your post bring a smile to my face and a lift to my day. Kait is a young lady to be proud of and you can hear it in your post. Not just that she has mastered knitting but that she is a charitable young person to boot. It is GREAT to hear some good new for Kait.

Love, Maggie

Barbara-

This is awesome and impressive!! I am knitting-impaired - I've taken classes twice, as it is something I *really* want to do, but it does not come naturally to me! I stress out over dropped stitches and the like - plus I have uneven yarn tension - I've been working on a scarf using "fun fur" - the trendy, fluffy yarn - and it does not look as nice and even as I would like. Kudos to Kait for mastering a difficult skill!

SHe is an amazing young lady and maybe we are beginning to see more of what she is able to teach the rest of us after her health ordeals...

I think her pain support group will be a great resource and source of support for her...

Proud Gramma, indeed! :cheerleader:

Love,

Mary
