For a few days now I have not felt so great especially in the morning.
This morning was no different- actually it was worse- I did not have D but it was very soft and not formed.
Now I ate nothing but normal food yesterday- egg, rice wrap with chicken, chicken and potato for dinner- more chicken for a snack-
So I really hope this is a stomach bug but if it isnt- would eating gluten riase my inflammation markers??? There are inflammation markers the Drs can see in your blood tests...
I am going to the Drs today hopefully if I can get a walk in apt- and I will ask for a blood test then- my nurse practioner is very good and is always open to newer ideas etc... He is the only DR who has embrased my GFCF diet.
Any help would be great guys! Thanks

Maybe its UC maybe its MC? Who knows at this point, but at least I know my intollerances now... so heres to the road to healing!

Good luck Andrew,
I doubt that antibodies would show up that soon in your blood, though. A "gluten challenge", usually takes several months, to be sure that the antibody level in the blood is sufficient for a positive test.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
I wish there were some test to take that would say, yes something you're eating is giving you problems, even if it didn't tell you what it is it might still be usefull if it were some sort of test you could do yourself. Unfortunatly none exist that I've found.
There are some general inflamitory tests such as CRP, though this could be an inflamation from an ear infection, cold, injury, cancer, etc. Not specific enough and definitly not a take home test as far as I can tell.
If we could come up with a testing process we'd probably make a ton of money. ;)
