Terps!

Post by Polly »

Hi Terps,

Well, it wasn't easy for us to watch the Colts win the Superbowl, was it? Sigh. But there's always next year for the Ravens. They really played well this year (hooray for McNair) and have a good chance to go all the way next year, don't you think?

I had to laugh reading that you were Flagstaff, AZ's bigggest Ravens fan. You may be its ONLY fan! Do you know of any others? My hubby and son have season tickets for the Ravens. In fact, my son may be in the record books one day as the Ravens' longest-standing fan. He has gone to every single home game since they first came to town when he was 8 years old - he is now 19. He is positively RABID about the team.

I hope you get to see both teams in AZ - very cool. I can picture you sitting in the stands and rooting for the visiting team. Be careful!

GO YOU BIRDS - RAVENS and ORIOLES!

Polly

HA HA Polly. Reminds me of a former coworker who was a Pats fan but moved to my former company's San Diego office for a while. When the Pats played San Diego in the "snow bowl" playoff game he was at a S. California sports bar rooting for the Pats very quietly to himself he said.

Oh so hard to see those Colts win.

Yes I think I am the only Ravens fan in Flagstaff- I saw one other Ravens fan in the Phoenix airport- lives in AZ (moved from MD).

I think the Ravens have a good shot at having another good year. McNair should be more comfortable- we need a new running back (jamal just isnt doing it) and we need to make Sumari Rolle less of a liability. My personal favorite is Ed Reed... he is just all over the field making INTs and making huge hits in the secondary.

I also think the O's have a decent chance of haveing a decent season
