Celebrating- I've got a cane
OK, I'm gloating. But 2 weeks ago today at this time I was still in the recovery room. Today I am putting my walker aside for the most part and have graduated to a cane! Never thought I'd be excited about a thing like that!!! AND I get to go upstairs and sleep in my OWN BED tonight.
The hospital bed was the worst. Felt worse when I got up in the morning that I did after exercising and moving around all day.
Anyway, I know there are many here with worse issues than mine, but I just wanted to share some good news with you all.

It is amazing how they can get you from a bed to a cane these days. So happy you are getting to your own bed tonight. Hospital beds have always been horrible when I have been there. Think they engineer them to keep you awake at nights.
Keep up the great recovery.
