A little more news

Many of you have asked about Korben. My second grandchild.

He is growing by leaps and bounds and is running all over the place. Last Friday, Thea (daughter) and I took him over to Kinder Care. We liked it so much that we enrolled him right away for a few hours a couple of times a week. When we got to the Toddler Room, with all the other kids, he made a bee-line for two trucks (all he could carry) and was as happy as a clam. That kind of cemented our decision. We think he will be happy there and he needs to be with other children.

Thea finished her school (Medical Assistant) and is now job hunting. :mallet: The most horrible thing a person can do to oneself. I am not watching Korben anymore because Jennifer (the nanny who was helping me) got a full time job and couldn't do it anymore. that is OK. Derrick (Korben's Daddy) has been taking care of him while Thea finished up her classes.

Peg (youngest daughter) bought a house in Eugene and she will take my mother's couch which is a load off my shoulders. I have completely redecorated the living room and now that couch that you tired to sleep on, Peg, is going to be history. The next one I am looking for has you in mind. I'll make John (my tallest son) try it out first. He is a champion couch sleeper. Brice (my first grandchild) is delighted with the new house and fenced yard because he can have a dog.

Mike (my oldest son) is still working at Intel which he hates. I hope he can take an early retirement from that and spend the rest of his life being a beach bum in Key West. There are plenty of crazy people there for Brenda (his wife and psychologist) to practice on.

That's enough.

Speaking of long posts, where's Wendy?

Lot of love,

Sally
