Anyone know about Electromagnetic energy?

Post by Umber »

I was reading up on thyroid & adrenal issues. One of the articles said to stay away from electromagnetic waves, ie, TV, microwave. It is "believed" they can cause lots of health problems, even cancer, more specifically in my case thyroid! I have heard about this in the past but didn't take it to heart. It sounded far-fetched and not enough proof to back up the claims. Now I am starting to wonder......we have huge power lines in the field behind our house.

Just wondering what your take is on this! Thank goodness I am not one to panic :yikes: otherwise our house would be on the market! Hehe!

Well, I have heard that, too. My friend, Barbara, in California, has developed hypo-thyroidism and she is around electro-magnetic machinery all the time. She and her partner run a trophy and t-shirt shop and she does all the engraving. I wonder if that could have something to do with it?

Hmmmmmm.

Hi Lori. Before my LC diagnosis, when I was questioning lots of things, I asked my PCP if maybe I'd gotten too much radiation from my computer or maybe the microwave. He looked at me like I was glowing green neon!!! I never did get an answer, esp. on how (or if) this is tested in humans. Anybody know the answer?

I have heard the same thing Lori. I have also heard that using the microwave for cooking isn't good either. :yikes:
