Some of this I do not understand what it is like the SGOT and SGPT and the Bili Direct and Bilirubin. But he was satisfied with the report. He also said I tested Pos for Rheumatoid.
He is aware of the Colitis and is going to do some test on a reg basis to keep an eye on it. He always remembers I have Colits when he precribes things. I love him to death.
Love Oma

May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
Oma--it's so great that you love your doctor--wish I could find one here that I loved!
Bilirubin is a measure of the liver and it's function.
SGOT and SPGT had the same definition (from www.medterms.com):
Serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, an enzyme that is normally present in liver and heart cells. SGOT is released into blood when the liver or heart is damaged. The blood SGOT levels are thus elevated with liver damage (for example, from viral hepatitis) or with an insult to the heart (for example, from a heart attack). Some medications can also raise SGOT levels. SGOT is also called aspartate aminotransferase (AST).
Just wondering what they can do to keep an eye on the colitis...
Cheers,
Wendy
