And another thing............

Post by Mars »

I started having eye problems again yesterday (burning, swelling, gritty, dryer than usual) same as I've been dealing with on and off (mostly on) for about 6 weeks. I called my eye doc this morning who recommended and referred me to an opthamologist - needless to say.............

I have two major issues going on - conjuctivitis that is probably allergy related and not contagious and an infection around the outside of the eye. I am on a 10 day aggressive dose of prednisone and another round of antibiotics (Lotemax) drops for the eyes. I am to continue the artificial tears (forever) and go back in two weeks.

If it's not one thing, it's another!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry you are having the problem with the eye's. It sounds very annoying. Maybe this will clear up the infection. Why the tears forever? Love Oma

Hi Mars
It's a Bu**er isn't it? It may have been the dry eyes that contributed to the infection. Mine are driving me crazy at the moment. Doc gave me a different med to try. It feels like you are looking through foggy glass for a while but the moistening effect seems to last longer. Hope you get some relief soon.

Love

Bummer is right! I'll try and find something funny enough to make your tears flow, then it'll all be worth it...right?

Mars,

Sorry to hear about problems with your eyes. I have eye problems in my family history, and that is not a lot of fun.

I hope your dr gets things back to as normal as they can be for you!!
