Provaction and Nutrilization allergy testing

Post by ronipow »

Have any of you read" Is this your Child", by Dr. Rapp. Dr. Rapp has been an allergist for 30 or more years. She has been seen on Donhue, Oprah, and several other talk shows.

She is a big believer in End - point allergy testing. This is a testing that shoots the allergic food under your skin to test a reaction. Then they
figure out a nuturalizing dose for that food. This type of allergy testing is very time consuming.

A friend of mind goes to one of Dr. Rapps trained allergists. She has faxed her a list of questions for me about Celiac disease and this type of
Provaction/Nutrilization therapy. When I hear back from her I'll let you know. If anyone has any experience with this type of testing I would be curious to what you think.

allergy testing

Well, Roni, I THINK this type of allergy testing ONLY tests for IgG reactions (such as anaphyllaxis or hives) to these types of foods. the type WE get is IgA, which is more contained to bowel symptoms and involves the auto-immune system instead of just the immune system.

but let me know if you find anything out otherwise!!
