Hi Senior
I'm Ok but still not feeling the best. I am seeing the vascular surgeon on Thursday. Hoping that I feel better after I get a bit more used to the new meds. Will see what this doc says. I am joining a health fund on my GP's advice. She says I could very well need it in the future. She says that when you get into the vascular area that it quite often means intensive care & that would cost $1,500 + per day & we can not afford that. You have to wait 12 months to claim for treatment for pre-existing ailments but they will be monitering the build up in my carotid arteries & if anything untoward looks like happening before then it would be emergency care & that would be taken care of under the free hospital system. I could go with that now but she says that the waiting lists are long & you often get bumped back in the queue.
