Barbara,

That is kind of aggravating, isn't it. What's your pulse now? If I'm reading your post correctly, it was 101 before starting the treatment.

didnt know that this THYROID can play such havoc!!!

Post by barbaranoela »

Galahad----by a stroke of luck--Eileen,the retired ER nurse, came over cus she baked me healthy cookies and a CAKE----

She then took my pressure and pulse was now 97--
Then she went into totally informing me HOW much this THYROID controls ya whole body!!!

I had NO idea---just how serious this can be---
So tomorrow Eileen said call the endo and tell her what U are Xperiencing--cus it is important that she know I am having some issues--

I had a piece of baked chicken---broccoli---and some mashed taters---and within--seconds had severe heartburn---which Louie's Nexium eased up!!! WHAT is this????

Now I am a basket case----and Eileen was MEANT to come over---she calmed me down---and told me ---being I am Sooooooo sensitive to meds---that it be a good idea to call Endo. but not to worry cus these issues do happen--
Then she said *U didnt sleep today, did U?* U look totally Xhausted---and *Eileen U R right---I am tired but sleep just wouldnt envelope me---

I am so angry with *ME* that I didnt totally go into this THYROID---but hearing all my friends @ home---*awwwwww--its nothing---the meds will take care of it*
Well maybe for them---but for me--NOT----they simply dont get how sensitive I am to MEDS>--STILL--YET---FOREVER and never will they get it!!!
I wish I was a better patient---but tis my nature---and I just need support --support--support--

And Galahad when I was to see endo last week---BP was 119/70--I believe---cus I remeber saying how low I am when I see the ENDO!!!
I am just a spaz!!!!

Barbara,

You are definitely having side effects from the Tapazole. I agree that you need to contact your endocrinologist in the morning. If you have any fever, be sure you mention that, when you call.
