Up to this point, at least, they haven't had any reason to be concerned about food safety. They couldn't even be forced to recall any "bad" lots. It appears to have been strictly a situation where an attitude of "caveat emptor" prevailed.

Hopefully that will eventually change, but it looks as if the country has a long way to go, to get up to speed on food safety.
