so how do you produce more butryate? Is there a harmful level? I am all about rebuilding the cells of the colon
Dr Fine test shows positive for gluten and casien but negative for soy, eggs, and yeast

butryate is produced by bacteria living in the colon. I cannot remember the substrate they use though. Think it's carbohydrates of some sort.

Beats the heck out of me. I think that Mike is right about the source, but I have no idea what you would need to do to enhance the production.
