UPDATE ON LOUIE

Post by barbaranoela »

We arose @ 5:30 a.m.
I ate breakfast
had my :coffee2:
visited the ladies room--
Got to the hospital @ 7:15--but the surgeon was working on another patient--so Louie wasnt taken till 10:15 --grrrrrrrrr

Took about 1 and 1/2 hours cus they did BOTH eye lids--thankfully--
They cut above the eye-brows---along the LINES on the brow---and clean out some tissue---(I think)---
He was awake thru it all---they just deaden the area--and when he came down his words were--
*wow--I can totally see everything*
*wow* said I---*U have EYES** He felt fine---we went and grabbed a bite---got home around 4pm---and then the sedation wore off and he was in PAIN---just TYLENOL they said---and tomorrow will be the
usual :phone: asking*how's things---and then a call to the surgeon---to remove the stitches--

And it was my *mistake*---the sagging eyelids were no doubt caused by the TIA's that he had in each EYE within the past 3 years--(thankfully the plaque stopped in the eyes) luck of the Italians
They no doubt caused some damage in the nerves and etc...

Although the OPTO. said that this can happen after cataract surgery???

Whatever-----as long as all if *OK*--

luve--Barbara :hug1: cue icon----I luve huggin myself---
the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control

 Great News, Barbara!! Hope the tylenol helps Louie more than it ever has me. Tex posted once to try eating an apple to boost the effect. Maybe it would help.
