So does anyone else get low back pain around the time where they are symptomatic? Mainly I notice it when driving long distances (like say greater than an hr) when or near when I'm having GI symptoms.
Does anyone else have this? Is this related?
Thanks,
Mike

I usually ached all over, (including lower back pain), when I was having an all-out reaction, (IOW having long, drawn out chronic-like episodes), but the worst pain, (other than the abdominal pain), was due to a stiff, sore neck. With short reactions, I usually have upper body pains, (neck and shoulders), but usually no significant lower back pains.
TendrTummy had a lot of lower back pain with her episodes. It's been a while since she's logged in, but you might go back and read some of her old posts, from the early days of this board.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
