nnew puter tomorrow

Post by JJ »

Sigh...the time has come...I have to give this puter back to the school tomorrow! They are giving me an old one, hopefully a laptop....they promise they will transfer everything, but that never happens. I made copies of my e-mail addresses....hope I can get on the board...I don't remember my password... On top of that, I hope I can re-install my ATT e-mail...hahahaha....I am hopeless, but will try.

I tried to register for unemployment today....don't like doing it on line...can't ask questions. I don't need the $ yet, but my friend who works for the agency said to lock-in this quarter...not sure what all this means...but will try to call tomorrow...does not help that I am working full time this week...sigh...oh well...

I need to get up very early tomorrow...the doc wants a specimen to see if I am over my bladder/kidney infection...hope I can find the lab at the hospital that opens at 6:30....I will be there around 8ish...hahahaha...nite nite...JJ

Jill,

If you can't remember your password, you won't be able to log onto the board with a different computer. It's stored in the database in code, so I can't retrieve it for you.

You can't change your password, yourself, either, if you don't remember what it is now, but I can assign you a new one. The easiest way to handle that is for me to change your password in the admin panel, and then you can log on and change it to whatever password you want.

Also, I'll PM you my phone number, so that in case you get stuck trying to set up your e-mail client, and/or have problems logging onto the board, and need help getting back online, just call, and I'll be happy to try to help you go through the process.

We can make the password change before you get the other computer, if you want. All you have to do is send me a temporary password that you want to change to, by way of e-mail or PM, and I'll make the change. Or, if you prefer, I can select a temporary password, and make the change, and then e-mail it to you.

Hope the lab test comes back negative.

You're more than welcome.

I'm glad you didn't have a problem logging on to the board.
