I have a Question---

Post by barbaranoela »

I know the thyroid controls all the functioning of your body works--(thats what my ENDO. told me-anyway)

BUT-----is it possible that -assuming my thyroid meds is doing its job--that it is controlling my anxiety/panic attacks??? cus I am finding that I DONT have the need to take the amount of anxiety meds. that I have been on for many, many years!!!????
I know when I was being *lowered* it was a killer and then I got to a point where I said *STOP*--I cannot drop any further!!

Of course I shall discuss this with my Endo.---but wouldnt this be something if the THYROID can help in this scenario!!!! and I also notice that STRESS is not as controlling as it has been --over the past few years???
I still get very :banned:  annoyed but not to the point of being eaten up!!!
It hit me today after I read Galahads post---I am feeling more than :whatever: --

What ablessing this would be----

thanks for any response~~~

luve Barbara

PS. wow another thought---my obsessive house cleaning--is right in with :whatever:

PSS--I see endo next week to see how my last 2 blood work ups have been--which will determine if the one tablet is enuf !!!!

Barbara,

Yes, hyperthyroidism can definitely cause anxiety. It can also cause you to be nervous, irritable and easily upset. The treatment definitely seems to be working.

Your other post was so laid-back, that I had to read it twice, to see if I had missed a rant or something in there. LOL. You seem to be more relaxed than I can ever remember, since I first "met" you on the old board, several years ago.
