Update on Kait--I dont believe this!!!! I give up

Post by barbaranoela »

well appears that the surgeon who did Kait's hernia---who was recommended to Lynn by her Liver doctor--has a VERY BAD reputation!!!

NO KIDDING---her incision is still opened---and *words* here and there to Lynn--was *WHY did U go to him???

So Lynn went to see a Lawyer and it appeared that things were about to fly---BUT she to confront this surgeon and he *ADMITS* that he has heard of his rotten reputation :banned:

Can U believe this-----so the ending of this :banned: story is- Kait is back in the HOSPITAL cus this ass-hole is going to suture her incision with stronger *whatever*---and my daughter LYNN is OK with all of this???
And Kait will remain in the hospital!!!!!!

I must be *stupid*---@ this point I dont even want to hear from Lynn---I am furious that she will allow this jerk to FIX the JOB!!!!!

I quit---

Barbara,

There's never a dull moment, is there?

I understand how you feel, and I agree that it's hard to stomach something like that, but maybe the guy deserves another chance. After all, if he is at least willing to admit that he is human, and can make a mistake, and he's willing to try to correct it, then he is ahead of many of those doctors who think they can walk on water.

One thing you can be sure of, he will be trying harder to do the job right, this time, and maybe he can pull it off. I hope so, for Kait's sake. She certainly doesn't deserve to have to keep going round and round on this same monotonous merry-go-round.

For Lynn's part, she probably realized that a lawsuit would drag on for years, with no guarantee that she would win in the end, so she took the bird in the hand, in order to get Kait's recovery back on track. Kait needs some relief, and the sooner, the better.

Sometimes we have to do what's "best", rather than what's "right". That's my two cents worth, for better or for worse.

I'm so sorry for the continued problems for Kait. It's incredible that she has had so much to go wrong.

I hope the current problem will soon be corrected. I'm sure the Dr. will do his best to do a good job this time. He must know he is in danger of having a suit brought against him. Surely he will do his best.

I'm afraid Tex is right about a lawsuit dragging on and on. It's hard to know if its worth the time and trouble.

Chin Up, Barbara. You can do this. Just blow off steam here when you need to and keep going. Thats about all you can do.

 to you Barbara!

I know this has got to be an awful, ongoing experience for your family but all you can do is keep your chin up like Shirley said. I will continue to keep your whole family in my prayers.

I'm sure this doctor will do the best he can for Kait. A pending law suit has got to help. Besides, there are many opinions of doctors; some like them and others don't. Hopefully, this is one of those cases where someone spread the bad news (their OPINION) and it traveled. You know, we don't all like the same people, look at our experience with doctors.

With Kait's difficulty in healing and inability to handle many meds, maybe this is her body rejecting the sutures and not the doctor's fault. I know that my body rejects things most others don't have a problem with and I heal backwards.

I'll continue to keep you in my thoughts for a "good vibe" day!

All my love,
Mars

thank U all for the imput of opinions----

U know me----I get so frustrated that I dont think logically @ times---and
I know Lynn wouldnt just *settle* for anything---that wouldnt help Kait-
Guess---tis more hopeful to believe that this surgeon will do a better job--

And who knows--maybe some of the peoples that he worked on are just complaining bitches about everything!!!
