Hi Mrs Columbo,

I can just see Lou rolling his eyes.

Yep, your gluteus maximus muscles are located there, to say nothing of the gluteus medius and gluteus minimus muscles. If you do a lot of bending way over, and you're not used to stretching those muscles, they can get downright sore, but of course, the meds could be making it worse, also. If the soreness is due to the work you did cleaning, it shouldn't be lasting for weeks, (unless you've been cleaning for weeks).

The sciatic nerve runs through the piniformis muscle, which is also located there, but if you had sciatica, there should be some numbless and possibly tingling, in your lower back and/or leg, in addition to the pain.

I hope the aching goes away in a day or so.

Luve,
Galahad
