Potty People National Anthem

Post by Sue777 »

Other forums come and go, they can’t withstand the heat.
But this one came and it’s STILL HERE, it’s one that can’t be beat!

We laugh, we cry, we share our pain, we vent and spill our guts,
And yes at times we disagree and drive each other nuts.

But never do we take a stab or purposely cause pain,
We know first hand by doing that there is nothing to gain.

We are the Potty People - plain and simple - here to stay.
We were the first . . .we’ll be the last . . . don’t care what others say!

Super, Sue! Now since this is an anthem, what tune shall we sing it to? It seems to fit Yankee Doodle pretty well........

Love,

Polly and her :turtle:
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

Don't ask me - I haven't got a musical bone in my body! I can do lyrics, but we need someone else to jump in and put some music to them. This Simon needs a Garfunkel!

Holy crap - I wrote that TWELVE YEARS AGO!!!!! Oh, wait, that means I've been fighting this friggin' colitis for at least that long. Hmmmmmm..... On this Independence Day I would like to become independent of this disease! But hey, it could always be worse, right?

Happy 4th, Potty People!

Diagnosed November 2004, Used Asacol and Lialda, sometimes worked, sometimes made it worse. Entocort always works but hate it. Remission only lasts 3-6 months and then back on Entocort. Enterolab test July 2017, now gluten free. Time will tell!
