New Job Just Got Better!
Well, I'm in Albany (company headquarters) for 2 days. Came in this morning. Well, anyway, on my way to the hotel from the office, drove by a PF Changs! So, called up for take out (I hate eating in restaurants alone). I even got a flourless chocolate cake for dessert (although I haven't eaten that yet).
And yesterday's excitement was an owl sitting on the fence next to the parking lot. He was snoozing and didn't seem to mind that 4 of us were watching him.

*WAY COOL* Katy
SO leaving that last boss behind was definitely a good thing - reinforced by what you now have Yay for new starts/fresh beginnings!
I'm drooling about the Chang's - I love their food!!
We went out to eat Saturday for Mike's (early) b.day gift (we had tickets to see Billy Joel - SOO awesome - I've wanted to see him forever - and he did not let me down ) anyways, we decided to go for seafood in Berkeley (the fact that it was raining and Cal was playing USC @ home did not discourage us traffic-wise!) So despite arriving 30 min late for our reservation, I had a fabulous wild Alaskan salmon dinner, and they had a to-die-for flourless chocolate cake w/raspberry sauce on the dessert menu...it was seriously the last meal I would order on death row
We thought we might not have time for dessert - but tried anyways - thank goodness - it was heaven on a plate! Billy was 20 minutes late taking the stage - so everything worked out
Katy- I'm so happy the employment situation resolved itself so well!!

Mary, I'm SOOOO jealous! Billy Joel! I would love to see him in concert. Even if my 10-year-old step daughter thinks he plays oldies!
Also stopped at a gf bakery on the way home from Albany this afternoon. Woman there was so nice...she had MC too. And her husband is her gluten nazi, like Geoff is mine.
On the old job front, my old boss told the secretary to invite Geoff and I to the company Christmas party! Can you believe the nerve?
