I just wanted to tell everyone that I will take a while to get to know who is who if you are using a different name then you did on the other board. If you are signing it with the same name eventually I will get to know who is who, just wanted to say this in case I act like I don't know you, that can be embarrassing for me and confusion for you. I guess that should have been the other way around, but I am a little slow with emoticons remember???
Speaking of the emoticons, there some pretty cool ones Tex.
Yeah, my memory still sucks. I took my brother with me today to the neurosurgeons, just so he could help me out. Why do doctors need a freaken time line to be so perfect? I mean really, if I got it in the right order that should have been good enough. Anyway, I was told by my rhuematologist to NOT tell him I also have fibro, because otherwise he would not do what we needed, and that was to set up injections. Which he did, but I will have to wait he said about a month or so, as another doctor is the one that actually gives the injections. He told me that the injury is not bad enough to warrant surgery as far as he could tell, but it is pressing on nerves causing problems with my right side. But I only wanted to get injections anyway, or at least to try it, and see if that will help me. My rheumatologist told me that the only problem with an MRI with my kind of injury, it really doesn't show what is happening when you are walking, since the test is done while you are laying down and there is no pressure being put on the area. But we accomplished what we wanted and that is the main thing right now.
Tomorrow I go get some more tests on my eyes. And I am getting new glasses, much needed, and had to get bifocals. Surprise, surprise, I am getting older and its showing!
Happens to the best of us, right?
Well, I should go, and I will talk to you all later on.
Yes, please, for Wendy and for me who are every so slightly memory impaired, it would be very helpful if you could sign your real name to your posts. I am having the same problem figuring out who is who. Thank you so very much.
"Greetings from Mars"! - really, my alter-ego is Margie. She decided to go on vacation so I am here in her stead! LOL
Glad to see ya!
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Oh, good - thank you! I was struggling to try and figure out who was who, too!
I'm still me..... I think.

Diagnosed November 2004, Used Asacol and Lialda, sometimes worked, sometimes made it worse. Entocort always works but hate it. Remission only lasts 3-6 months and then back on Entocort. Enterolab test July 2017, now gluten free. Time will tell!
