Just Checking IN

Post by kate_ce1995 »

Well, I haven't been around as much lately, but I've been checking in to read posts.

My new job is off to a good start. The people in the office are quite friendly, and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. What a change! One of my former coworkers is also getting ready to leave my last firm. He has been waiting to sell his house and got a great offer last weekend so that is moving forward. I expect he'll be gone by Christmas. Work has been a catalyst for him, but he and his wife are also from the midwest so are moving back there.

Well, we are getting the first snowflakes of the season, so I've got to go rush the kids so I can get on the road a bit early this morning. Worse yet, I have a rental car because I dropped my Subaru off yesterday to have rear end damage repaired from an accident I had a couple weeks ago.

Have a good Thanksgiving.

Katy,

I'm soooo glad this job is less stressful than the last one and that you are fitting in and feeling comfortable! Makes for a less stressful life all the way around.

Be careful on those roads!!!

Love,
Mars
