They are Lidcaine 700mg (50 Mg per gram adhesive) 10cm X 14 cm I cut them to fit my need. They work beautifully for 12 hours. I put one on my bad knee last night around 8pm and removed it around 7:30 am. They work better than pain meds. But I only use if the pain is real bad. With My insurance I paid 25.00 for 25 patches. Thanks for the update. This sounds as if it could be a useful alternative for us MCers at times - since we don't do well with the NSAIDs (Aleve, Motrin, aspirin, etc.). Glad to hear that you are getting some relief. How is the sinus doing? I have finished 1 week of inhaled antibiotic now (azithromycin) but still have another 2 weeks to go. I can't believe how stubborn sinusitis can be. Sigh.

You will be interested in what I am doing today. I'm taking my niece's little girl (Ava, age 6) to the animal shelter. We are going to visit the animals, give them some lovin', and then I'm going to give her some money to make a donation in her name. It's never too young to learn how to take care of animals, don't you agree? Then I'm taking her for a nature walk after lunch.

That is such a good Idea taking her to the shelter. She's lucky to have you in her life. My little Jasmine has a cyst or a tumor on her neck. Next Saturday we are taking her in to have it looked at. I don't care about the cost. She's Mikes Baby. I miss the work at the shelter, giving loving to all the animals and taking care of them. I scheduled thier surgeries and did all the meds. But I treated them all like Mine.
The Patches could be a great alternative. I have had no bad responses to them, I have an arrrythmia (probably spelled wrong) and have had no problem. But I cut them into smaller pieces and only use if I would other wise use a pain killer. I like them because when it gets that bad, I don't have to swallow a pill. It helps me to sleep. Haven't tried it on the Fibro yet tho.
I am half way thru my Rx for my sinus infection and still have the Sinus headache. I may have to do two rounds of antibiotics. Haven't tried the kind you have, I may ask for it. Love Oma
