MAGGIE --back seat--hilarious!!!

Post by barbaranoela »

I was hysterical about the *back-seat* issue----

Well we didnt have a car to sample the back seat but we did have the stairwells --our Knickerbocker Village complex offered magga nooks and crannies for * :whatever: --- my *mom* walked in while L and I were *smooching*---and my poor *mom* ran the other way!!!
Lord luve us---how honest we can be here----(I trust we did give the BIG MAN upstairs a laugh or 2)

Mom---never grew with the times--so very sad---cus it was very HARD to talk with her and everything embarrassed her--

Lou I married while he was in the Navy---so once he got a surprise leave(and I lived @ home till his discharge) and there was a knock @ my moms door----when she saw Louie---she said *where are U going to sleep!!!??? *with Barbara, my wife, he said--- and my mom said *in the same BED!!!! :yikes:

Can U just picture this---my mom holding the door ajar and Louie trying to step inside--

So, U well know I could never go to my mom for a *talk*---and this was even sadder- and even more sadder --my dad was tough--no talking to him either--and again sad to say he passed @ age 53---

Take care again Maggie
and a good day to ALL

Hi Barbara,

Your mom and mine would have made a great pair. Never talked with her about a darn thing. She was stuck in the Victorian era and there was a very large age gap but even more with my dad. He was human.

Love, Mags

Barbara,

That's a fabulous story, (about when Lou got a surprise leave from the Navy). You've gotta be one of the greatest storytellers around. I'll say it again, "I absolutely love the way you write".

Neither of my parents ever wanted to "talk", either.

I'm thinking most of the parents of people around our age weren't inclined to "talk" about those things. And, Barbara, it is a great story.
