REALLY TICKED OFF-ALOT!!!

WHY??? cus according to this Specialist--who does the *injecting* into the spine---he needed an MRI for more detailed info---

So I went for an MRI--Frindat night----
Has he gotten the results??? NO????
So by the time he gets into gear my back will be pass the time that this injection can be done----and NOW--(-AS U all can Tell I am that little girl who had a little curl in the middle of her forehead--when she was good she was very very good--when she WAS MAD she was HORRID--which is now ME)

MY GP said----*by god Barbara U can sleep without the brace*??? well not what I was told----
He was very upset to see how irritated my chest is and the constant *P'ing* is cus the brace slips and presses on my bladder--thus I am whiZzING TO THE POTTY frequently--

Then L. adds---*barbara seems to forget lottsa stuff* well sure I do---*when I dont care whats being said-I dont keep it in mind!!!
He thinks I am like *DUH*--which made Dr. Kozin look @ me and suggest a Dementia test!!!!!
Dr. Kozin--said I----I can talk up a storm---remember whats needed--and etc.

So now---I dont want the freaking injection----supposed to go tomorrow for a BRACE adjustment---which I am going to cancel--

SORRY-----but I am really really---in a very bad mood---and I hate to unload this to all of U!!!

Hi Barbara,

I don't blame you for being upset. The folks in charge of prescribing and fitting you with that brace, certainly haven't given you the information you need, and haven't followed through with making sure that it fits properly.

One of the biggest problems with so many medical professionals, is that deep down, they really don't seem to give a damn about the patient. The patient is just a number, and they're mostly concerned about raking in that big, fat paycheck. I guess they just get bored after a while. If it weren't for good ol' GPs, (many of whom actually seem to give a damn, and actually listen to what their patients say), the medical institutions of the world would seem to be pretty cold and inhospitable places to visit.

I suspect we've all run into the problem of test results taking forever to get to the doctor who ordered them. Most scan results should be available almost immediately, but nobody seems to give a hoot about getting them to where they are needed in a timely manner. In this day and age, that should be a matter of simply pushing a button or two on a computer.

Don't worry about unloading here. That's one of the things that this place is good for. You know we understand. I hope you start feeling better soon.

Hi Barbara,

Don't blame you for being pissed off. Like we talked about on the phone on Sunday, once I get my MRI done this Sunday they will all be off for Christmas and God knows when I will get the results. But when I do, my doc who ordered the tests is gone for 5 more weeks healing from his knee operation. Gee, I wonder who is going to call me?

I just cannot understand why they don't think people worry while they wait for results. Right now I am really on edge and if the two of us were to get together, the world had better watch out.

I know the feeling. Frustrating to no end!

However, there may be a bright spot... maybe you weren't meant to get the injection and would you really want to get it from someone who is so disorganized and hasn't the courtesy to have ordered the results of the MRI STAT??!!

Galahad---thats why I luve my GP---the most understanding Doc. I have been very fortunate to have doctoring me---I value his opinions and I TRUST him--he feels that with all the years that anyone @ this age --give or take--has being on medications and had their bodied wracked with different issues---stressed out here and there---a few BRAIN tracks might be a little warped???
I am sure it is just plain lack of interest--when things that I dont care about hearing makes me say --the next day *what did he say?
