Will go in---the EVE-----and will be kept overnight into Christmas Day---
Then will be discharged----BUT not until I see Santa walking thru the rooms-- I want my candy cane---or a gooey peanut butter ice cream container---
L. really thinks I can make the trip to Lynn and the girls----he is crazy---even if I feel better does he really think I want to go from hospital to Lynn's!!!! UFF----
So I told him---*U go and spend the day*

I think you may be surprised at how much better you feel, on Christmas day, but still, I have to agree that being discharged from a hospital doesn't normally inspire one to want to immediately go out and start visiting. You may be on pain killers for a day or so, because of the injection procedure.
That's neat, getting to see Santa before you're discharged. Maybe he won't think about asking whether you've been good or bad, so you'll be okay, 'cause I'm sure you'll be good when he shows up.
