Checking-in

Post by JJ »

Hi gang...haven't been around much lately. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I got a part-time teaching job at the local Technical College. I will be teaching a course for HS students who need to earn a diploma as they finish a technical certificate. I have created a whole new course on Public Art and still have a ton of research to complete.(the job starts 1/22) I also have been applying for jobs for next school year, and had a phone interview with a school in WA D.C. last Sunday. I ve also been on jury duty for the past 2 weeks, but have actually only been at the court house for a total of 3 days and didn't get picked for a trial....ski school also started last Saturday....on opening day, we had a kid with a broken wrist, and a snow board stolen...uffda!

So...that is all that is new....oh...I saw Atonement last night....great movie!

Hope everyone is staying warm!

Hi Jill,

It's good to hear from you - been wondering what you've been up to. It sounds as though you've been plenty busy. Setting up a new course takes a lot of time and dedication, on top of all the other stuff.

Good luck with the new course, and the interview.
