I've been trying out the cinnamon and honey drink since Monday. Have a couple of problems with it and wondered if anyone has a solution?
Firstly, I don't care for sweets, so wondered if I could lower the amount of honey to one spoon - I have to grit my teeth to swallow each mouthful.
Secondly, When I get to the bottom of the cup there's a sludge of honey that has settled at the bottom and it's like drinking snot (pardon the reference, but that's what it looks like). I keep stirring as I'm drinking it and do drink it as fast as I can because I don't like the drink, but the dreadful sludge is still there. Not a nice experience first thing in the morning and last thing at night, but I'm persevering because I'm hoping it will help my arthritis.
How is everyone this morning? Good, I hope. I'm off to get some interfacing for my sewing project I'm working on and will be sewing today. Making myself a new shirt. I'm really enjoying learning to sew after avoiding it for 50 years.
Have a nice weekend.

Cinnamon and Honey
Do something nice for you today
I tried that drink and it was way to sweet for me to. I couldn't get past the sludge...that texture was too much . I found cinnamon in tablet form and have been taking those.
Not much help was I?! Hehe
OMG, how awesome are you!! Hasn't sewn in 50 years and you are putting in "interfacing". My first project would be a pillow....straight lines all the way!
Be sure to send a photo to me of your creation.
Hugs,
Lori

Momster....I went looking thru my Herbal note regarding arthritis pain and treatments of the natural nature here's what I found in my notes....
Tumeric is an excellant herb....it aids in the creation of cortisol which relieves inflamation..I personally cook with it and sometimes add it to a tea that has alot of flavor as I don't care for overly sweet tea either. Also Capsaicin in a cream form will help releive pain. And Ashwagandha is an asian plant in the potato family that is used to treat high blood pressure and immune disfynctions. I found a spray in solution at my beauty operators shop who also enjoys natural things called "wunderBracer" spelled just that way. You spray it on and don't have to rub it in. I use it just before bed so I can fall asleep with out so many aches in the legs and knees. It's got :
Menthol, Thymol, Capsaicin Tincture,Juniperberry (which I have a reciepe for a super mouthwash from) wintergreen, echineasa, wormwood, Iodine, stuff like that. I make a mouthwash out of juniper berry because of the mouth sores I sometimes get. Hope this helps some...but with all herbs check with your doctor to make sure that they will interact with your meds in a positive way. Love Oma P.S Our sweet Polly may know if they will.
