I am in utter disbelief here! Albums are back in style?!! My 16 year old daughter is in hog heaven over our "old" vinyls.....who would have thought. Hubby dug through the attic for his turn table and will be hooking it up. Too funny! It's a whole new thing for her! hehe! She can't wait to buy vinyls of the "new" artists.

I am so busy and haven't been feeling so good for awhile. Still having thyroid issues and dealing with my adrenal's. Its a long road to healing the adrenal system (about 4 years). My doc thinks it started with taking Entocort, then two surgeries in 6 months. I just started acupuncture. I am willing to try anything. Tired of being tired and worn out.

My gall bladder and pancreas are inflamed. Doc is doing some blood work then wants me to get an ultrasound. With every increase in my thyroid meds my CC gets worse and more flare ups. Ugh, if its not one thing its another. I feel like a medical mess!

I miss you all & check in when I can. You are always in my thoughts!

Hugs

Hi Lori,

Sorry to hear that you're having so many health issues these days. It's kind of unnerving to read that your doctor thinks that Entocort started those problems. I assume that he was referring primarily to the adrenal issues, rather than the thyroid problems, or am I wrong?

Does he have any thoughts on why your gallbladder and pancreas are inflamed? Naturally, that huge mistake that the drug company made with your thyroid hormone supplement about a year ago immediately comes to my mind as a possible suspect.

I wonder if your thyroid hormone supplement could somehow be causing your gallbladder and pancreas to become inflamed, which in turn could be causing your CC to react. If either your gallbladder or pancreas are malfunctioning, there's no telling what the pH of your intestinal lumen might be, and the wrong pH will almost certainly lead to a bacterial imbalance, over time, which can obviously cause D.

Please keep us updated, since many of us take thyroid supplements. Thanks for posting that information.

I hope your doctor can resolve the problems.

Morning Lori,

So happy to see you getting in a post. However, not at all happy with hearing everything you are experiencing. It just seems that life is throwing more at you that one should have to handle.

Love that your daughter has discovered albums. Not something she will be able to find in the store but they are the bestest.

Love, Maggie

Hi there Lori!

What a bummer those continuing health problems must be. I hope they figure it all out.

You know, we have often said we believe that MC (the immune process actually) seems to involve the entire gut - from mouth to anus. So maybe that's why the GB and pancreas are invloved. It seems like quite a few here have had GB problems....and I think Karen initially had an enlarged pancreas. I also recall folks with GERD, esophagitis, stomach issues, etc. Of course, it doesn't help to have endocrine issues in addition. You must be exhausted all of the time.

I've got my fingers crossed that you will be feeling better soon. :xfingers:

Interesting about the vinyls....

Love,

Polly
