Thanks, All:

Im celebrating to the best of my ability right now. John took me out for a nice breakfast and I managed to eat most of my eggs benedict and he had to help with the hash browns. Just resting right now and then we're going out for dinner also.
I got a lovely gift certificate to the day spa, so can be spoiled royally with pedicure, manicure, etc. after I feel better.
I'll be going for surgery to remove the gall bladder in about three weeks. Have to go for a few tests first.
I had to come home from the hospital to recuperate before they killed me there so I'd be strong enough for the surgery. The conditions at the hospital are deplorable - overcrowding and they are mixing isolation patients with others in the same rooms and people are sleeping in the hallways. I spent my first five days there in the hallway in emergency where I contracted a bad chest cold. Anyway, the cold is nearly gone now and I am getting stronger.
2008 certainly has gotten off to a bad start - I hope things improve now.
I think of you all often and wish you all the best.
I will try to check in more often.
